World NCD Congress 2026 Guidelines and Bid Book 

WRITTEN STATEMENT

The statement proposing to host the World NCD Congress should include the following information and submitted to the President, World NCD Federation preferably before the bid or within 3 month of acceptance of the bid.

  • A detailed description of the conference venue (including history, renovations, technical specifications, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes, tobacco use policies, accessibility for those with special needs, emergency facilities onsite, list of recent or future clients)
  • Hotel room breakdown – number of rooms within walking distance, distribution of rooms across “star” and price categories.
  • Accessibility by air, rail and road for international participants
  • Description of public transportation options available
  • Health, safety and security considerations of the city, including recent or imminent steps taken to negate threats
  • Visa and entry requirements for the country
  • List of local academic, youth, or community groups working in the fields of non-communicable diseases or health promotion in general
  • Support letters from national and local convention bureaus

The Applicant should specifically cover the following in the application.

  1. Name of the Host Institution/University/Organization:
  2. Name of the Chair of Organizing Committee/Organizing Secretary
  3. Why host Institution/University/Organization is interested to host Fourth World NCD Congress in 2026 (200 words)?
  4. What is the institutional capacity of Host Institution/University/Organization to host Fourth World NCD Congress in 2026 (200 words)?
  5. How host Institution/University/Organization intends to raise resources for hosting Fourth World NCD Congress in 2026(200 words)?
  6. What plans do you have to support participation of colleagues from Low & Middle Income Countries?
  • Any additional statement/remark which strengthen the case of host institutions to host next congress in 2026
