How do I register?

When should I register?

The last date for registration for the course and CME is 15.02.2021.

Do I need to buy textbooks?

All the reading materials will be provided during the course. However, the facilitator may recommend suggested texts for further exploration. You may read the book on Public Health Approaches to Noncommunicable diseases.

How do I interact with the facilitator?

The participants will get an opportunity to communicate with the facilitators through live interactive session every day and discussion forums which will be conducted during the course.

Are online classes self-paced or scheduled?

Modules are self-paced. The timings and dates for both the live sessions and assignments/practical are fixed beforehand.

How many hours should I need to devote to this course in one week?

You need to spend 5-6 hours per day for entire duration of the course. The timeframe will cover lectures, assignment and live interactive session.

What, if I have any technological difficulty during the course?

The Help Desk is available on the website. You may mail regarding your problem to intncdcourse@gmail.com or call at 7973038415 (Mr. Brijendra for administrative assistance) and 9585395395 (Dr. Aravind for course content assistance) during the course. The team will response within 6 hours of the query.

What are acceptable payment methods?

Only Online payment is available and payment methods include payment through credit card, debit card, UPI and net banking are acceptable.

What type of resource material is available online?

In the ‘My Resources’ section, the participant has an access to lecture videos, assignments, project work related documents, and referenced reading materials.

Is there any policy of refund?

There is No refund policy in the course. The fees once paid will not be refunded.

Is there any provision to interact with the peers?

The participants will get an opportunity to communicate through live interactive session and discussion forums.

Is it compulsory to purchase a laptop to attend lectures of the course?

You may attend the classes on your smart phone or tablet too. For more clarity in communication, we recommend the usage of desktop/laptop.

Is the course available offline also?

No, this course is only available online. However, the CME will be conducted in hybrid mode and the people in the tricity (Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula) can attend the CME in PGIMER, Chandigarh.

What will be the procedure of the course assessment?

You will be graded on the basis of the pre course assessment, module exit test and Final course assessment, assignments and project work/ practicum.

Can I download the PowerPoint presentations of the course?

There is no provision of downloading the PowerPoint presentations of the course. The participant can only view or read it during the course period. However, you can download the resource materials.

Is financial aid available?

Our courses are self-sustained, so we do not provide any financial aid.

What is the passing criteria to get the certificate?

You have to score 50% in all the modules and the overall post-test of the course. On-time and appropriate submission of the assignments/practical is also mandatory.

When will I get the certificate?

The certificate will be issued after the completion of the full course. This includes attending lectures, timely submission of assignment, project work and final course assessment.

Are there prerequisites or language requirements?

The courses will be conducted only in English language. The participants should have a conversational knowledge of the English language for pursuing the course.
